The Meatlocker

The Meatlocker is a small bar and live music venue on Park Street in Montclair, New Jersey, known mostly for local and touring rock, punk and indie bands. It is a mainstream place that we list as gay-friendly, not a gay bar. It rates 4.5 stars from about 200 Google reviews. It is a dive-style room, so expect loud sets, cheap drinks and a small stage rather than a cocktail lounge. Shows are listed on the website; check the calendar before you go, as some nights have a cover charge and age limits.
