Wifey's Queer Bar

I stopped because it said queer bar in the sign. It’s not. It’s a neighborhood dive bar and that’s cool too.

Super fun cute bar we stumbled upon! It was karaoke night and our bartender Ginger was ripping the mic!! Also got a special visit from the neighborhood cat, GUMBO!

I was skeptical when they changed from Iggy's, but they've really done a good job keeping this a community bar.

I am anticipating going to the spot. I’ve heard such great things and I would love what represents a safe pace for lesbians to go. There are so many bars are dedicated to gay men, which is amazing and wonderful, but it would be really nice to have a space for us, ladies

hole in the wall pub atmosphere. staff was outstanding! honestly out of all the gay bars I tried on my visit this was tied for my favorite with golden lantern. granted I'm not the club type so I found this place to feel like a welcoming and comforting place I'd probably frequent more if I was a local.

I was there the 14th-20th of September, staying in the air bnb next door. I was stoked having a bar next door. Then google maps still listed it as Iggy’s. Reading the reviews for Iggy’s, made me not want to go & disappointed! When I arrived, to my surprise , it was Wifey’s. Ginger was the reason I came in & ignored the bad reviews, from prior ownership. With a funky start to my trip, Ginger & Shawn welcomed & loved on me. Giving the love & hospitality as I was a local & belonged there!
