New Orleans Pride Center

The New Orleans Pride Center opened its Mid-City home on Orleans Avenue in 2024, filling the gap left when the city's previous LGBT Community Center closed in 2022. It operates as an inclusive hub where local LGBTQ2IA+ organizations meet, host programming and share resources. The calendar spans peer support groups, social meetups, workshops and community events, and the center maintains referral lists for affirming health care, legal help and housing support in the region.
