The New Orleans Pride Center opened its Mid-City home on Orleans Avenue in 2024, filling the gap left when the city's previous LGBT Community Center closed in 2022. It operates as an inclusive hub where local LGBTQ2IA+ organizations meet, host programming and share resources.
