Kajun's Pub

Their website says they're a karaoke bar, not a bar that does karaoke, and by god that's what they were and it was fantastic. Went on a Friday night, got a pre-kj crowd of great-sounding karaoke needs; when the KJ got there he did easily tip-worthy work. The system was fair to locals, tourists, and regulars imo, and it was a nice building, good ambience and atmosphere, charming little outdoor spot out back. Very LGBTQ-friendly.

Great bar, but they need to fire that big ginger bartender. Terrible attitude, clearly hates their job and is openly rude. So crazy because New Orleans is such a friendly place overall.

Karaoke

Just an incredible night. We are karaoke konnoisseurs and this bar ranks in our top 5. Fo real. Bar tender was super helpful and the KJ kept the party going. We will make this a tradition for our Jazz Fest visits.

It was pretty empty when we went. I wouldn't come back

I love this place and have been going here for years. But the other night I waited about 2 hours while the same 20ish people cycled through songs (I saw 3-4 people sing upwards of four songs) before me. I think it's a new system they implemented. I sincerely hope they change it.

The best place to go sing. Give everyone a raise.
