Just a few blocks from the Bourbon Street gay strip, the place feels more like a neighborhood haunt than a tourist stop. Its low‑ceiling interior is cramped, the kind of spot where you can hear the clink of glasses over the hum of conversation. When the sun sets, a platform springs up over the bar and go‑go dancers take over. Regulars and visitors alike line up for a quick drink and a spin of the stage, and tipping the dancers isn’t optional—it’s part of the routine. The doors open at 2 p.m. every day. On weekdays it shuts at midnight; on Friday and Saturday it pushes out to 2 a.m. Drinks range from cheap to moderate, so you won’t be blown dry before the night ends. If you’re after the dancers, show up after dark. In the early afternoon the bar is quiet, a decent spot for a low‑key drink before the evening kicks in.

The woman bartending in this place has the meanest pour in the gay area. Im pretty sure there are straights that waltz in trying to get some. I can ignore them. I came here 3 times during my trip. No regrets. Happy hour from noon to 7......everyday. get chu some. Dancers are scrawny. Not my type as I like meat on the bone, but have your fill
