North Charleston Marriott

Seth at the front desk was fantastic! He went above and beyond to help me and made sure everything was taken care of. Really appreciate his professionalism and great customer service!

Honestly, I don’t understand why this hotel doesn’t have higher ratings. As someone from Tennessee, this is some true southern hospitality. The breakfast staff is great. Front desk is always there and willing to help or greet people. The rooms were clean and the amenities were pleasant. I will book my next visit at the North Charleston Marriott. Thanks again for the great stay!

Not worth the money. Nice enough, but others are more affordable and the beds are equally as comfortable. The room was sterile and felt cold compared to embassy suites or Hilton Garden Inn. I was looking for a little luxury, but it wasn’t worth the money people are nice enough stuff is nice enough just not worth the money.

Rooms are clean and updated. Best thing about this hotel is the service. Amazing staff… from check-in to the lounge to the bar. Kelly is such a great bartender. She is on top of everything and makes sure every customer is tended to immediately. I love Marriotts but this is definitely one of the hundreds I’ve been to with the better service. Great work!

Rooms are fine. A/C works well. M Lounge was well appointed and staff were friendly. Inspire restaurant is good but very expensive. After a 4 night stay we received our bill with a mystery charge for $45. Called and left messages 3x to find out what it was. Someone told us it was for room service that we ordered one evening it that was only $33 and had been charged separately. No one could tell us what it was. Emailed Marriott corporate and inally got a call back. Was told it was room service and then was told it was parking ($12/day which doesn’t add up). Mysteriously the charge disappeared a few days later after reaching out to corporate. If there is a charge on your bill that no one can explain that’s a big problem. Luckily it was for work or we may never have checked the itemized bill. Check your receipt and be aware.

Rooms are ok, service could be better, location is great for business travelers. The cleaning service is very hit or miss. Depending on who you get you’ll either get your consumables refreshed daily or a few will be missing. Someone also needs to mention to the cleaning team that receipts left on tables should not be thrown away. I need to log my business expenses and someone unfortunately grabbed one off my table before I could log it. Rooms are fine. Showing their age. Seems like upgrades were done recently, but I still notice some rough spots. Clean rooms though. Over all good. Near the airport. Quiet even with airport traffic nearby.
