Nice rooms and pleasant front desk staff. The “breakfast” is pitiful. Like worse than you’d get at a Best Western. A hotel at this price should have much better food offerings if they are going to say that breakfast is included. We basically had to beg them to restock the food. Embarrassing to bring international guests here.

I had a great one-night stay at Watershed Hotel in Norwalk. The space is beautifully designed—thoughtful, modern, and really well put together. I stayed here while working a wedding in Greenwich, and the location was super convenient for that. I didn’t get a chance to explore the surrounding area much since I was really just there to sleep, but for a quick, functional stay, it was perfect. The little details in the room really stood out to me—things like a jewelry dish on the nightstand, an alarm clock with cordless phone charging, and an electric kettle (which I loved as a tea drinker). The tea selection was great, and the front desk even offered extra tea bags if I needed them, which I appreciated. Check-in was seamless with mobile access, and there was a large desk that made it easy to get some work done. Everything was spotless, and the space felt very well maintained. A couple of small notes: there is a nearby train that I heard once around 10pm. It didn’t bother me at all, but something to keep in mind if you’re a very light sleeper. Also, I had to leave before breakfast, so I can’t speak to that—but they had coffee available starting at 5:30am, which was amazing for an early departure. The gym was also solid for a quick morning workout, and the front desk staff were lovely and very accommodating throughout my stay. Overall, a really thoughtful, comfortable stay—I’d definitely return.

What a great find of those hidden gem in Norwalk CT. Right off the Merrit Parkway. Nicely appointed and quiet beautiful rooms. Staff friendly and so helpful. Nia checked us in and out with a great smile!

The beds are very comfortable, rooms are very clean and up to date, staff is very friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Property is nice. Rooms are great. Staff was courteous. 5 stars so far. The reason for 2 stars - room was next a train track and the train is loud and vibrates the room every 30 mins. I would not stay here unless hotel guarantees street facing room

Thais and Nia were absolutely incredible and truly went above and beyond for us. We unexpectedly lost our proposal space at the very last minute, and during an extremely stressful situation, they were so gracious and accommodating. They allowed us to use the hotel lobby and helped us pull everything together when we were completely scrambling. Their kindness, flexibility, and genuine willingness to help made all the difference, and they supported us the entire time. The Watershed Hotel itself was amazing as well. The accommodations were wonderful, and the atmosphere was perfect for such a special moment. We are incredibly grateful for the support we received and cannot recommend this hotel enough.

The hotel is sharp and nicely decorated, with a big, inviting lobby that makes a good first impression. The staff were incredibly friendly — and impressively unflappable when dealing with some high-maintenance guests which I saw. The room and pillows were comfortable. The walls are a bit on the thin side, but thankfully it never got loud enough to ruin the peace. Consider free breakfast or coffee?

My husband and I stayed here recently during the snowstorm, and unfortunately our experience was disappointing. When we arrived, the parking lot and driveway were a complete mess. Given the severity of the storm, we expected the property to at least make an effort to clear or maintain safe parking accommodations for guests, but that clearly wasn’t a priority. The initial staff members we encountered were unprofessional, loud, and distracted. They appeared more interested in socializing and playing games than tending to guests during the very stressful weather situation. The lobby felt like their personal hangout space, which made it uncomfortable to even approach the desk for assistance. During a storm of that magnitude, guest safety and support should have been the focus, not casual downtime. The gentleman at the desk overnight was kind, attentive, and accommodating, and he answered all of our questions and was able to help my husband with some tech issues he was having. Our room itself was clean and organized. We’ve stayed here before and know that housekeeping does a good job, which thankfully remained true this time as well. Despite being in the area often for business, we don’t plan on returning. The lack of professionalism and attentiveness from the initial staff during such a serious weather event left a lasting impression. Management should do better, especially when guests are relying on the hotel for safety, support, and basic accommodations during extreme circumstances.
