I/we read the reviews. I just wanted to say that our stay was excellent!!! Plenty of pillows. Bright, clean room. Plenty of towels. All fresh and clean. A very, very special kudos to Erickan. She was an absolute pleasure!! Very positive, friendly and professional. Made a exhausting trip so much better. Even watched her handle a grumpy gus in a sweet, disarming way. She is a real plus to the Watershed. Thanks Erickan!!!
From the street, it has no curb appeal, but that all changes when you go inside. Great restaurant on-site and friendly staff. And we loved seeing the train track outside our window -- the occasional train sound was by no means disruptive and just adds to the property's uniqueness. We would happily stay here again.
Great experience! From the street it may not look all that but once you walk through the door it’s just another world. Beautiful tranquil lobby. The view of the creek below and trees- it instantly relaxes you. The train does go by a few times but it’s fast and honestly adds to the charm. I would stay again in a heartbeat.
The hotel was very nice, with spacious, spotless rooms. The staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay. The biggest disappointment was the breakfast. There were no eggs available, and the pre-made sandwiches tasted stale and overly processed. The pre-cut fruit also did not seem fresh. On a positive note, the coffee was quite good.
Well the hotel is clean and the staff friendly and the bed was comfortable. Really appreciate finding a hotel that does not have pancakes for pillows! These pillows were actually lofty and only one was needed to sleep. Now a couple of cons to write about… 2 of the 3 days the shower was lukewarm (at best) and quickly turned cold; both evening and morning. We’re not talking long showers either…standard 5 min showers to wash your hair, etc. Cold showers are no fun!!! They are very stingy about towels. We asked for extra towels because I have long hair and the room only comes with 2 towels for 2 people. I hung a towel on a hook in the bedroom to dry (there are no towel bars in the bathroom) and planned to wash my hair the next morning only to find out housekeeping took my 1 extra towel off the hook leaving my husband and I 1 towel each. Ugh! Who knew you must hid towels from housekeeping?! The bathroom is very dark! Painted black walls, 1 light over sink area, 1 light inside the shower and the mirror is backlit by a yellow/blue light- ladies plan on struggling to see to apply makeup. All of the other mirrors in the room are in shadows- lighting is awful. The music in the lobby is so loud it carries into the room each morning. And finally as others stated, the breakfast is not something to get excited about. Processed baked goods and literally Jimmy Dean Sausage/Muffin sandwiches you throw in a microwave. Needless to say we skipped the complimentary breakfast each morning.
The water pressure in the shower was very weak.
