EVEN Hotel Norwalk by IHG

Everything had “run out”, from key cards at the front desk, to coffee (decaf and regular) and hot chocolate in their fancy coffee machine. Breakfast was supposed to start at 7am, and dozens of people were turned away because “the lady isn’t here yet” even at 7:20 when we gave up. Apparently she had been quite late the day before as well, so no breakfast either morning at opening time. (People staying in hotels usually have places to be and not having the planned for breakfast or coffee in the morning really messes up plans).

This was an excellent hotel experience. The room was spacious. The bed and pillows were so comfortable. The exercise and yoga equipment in the room was a surprising treat. The staff was friendly and efficient. Truly a memorable experience.

Came here at night. Called in HOIRS advance and asked for two towels, two pillows, and a toddler crib; "confirmed". It took 1 hour AFTER we got here. No parking. We are Platinum members. This took up 75 minutes just to check in / get settled.. No upgrades. Victoria WAS ONLY POSITIVE factor. This HOTEL IS NICE, but POORLY MANAGED. I would love a refund.

This hotel was great! Stayed here for business and it was genuinely the most comfortable stay. One of the workers Victoria specifically was amazing always there to help and giving up water or materials when needed. Loved my stay!

Victoria was very nice and she helped me with all my problems and she did everything I asked for I got water. Also she was really good thank you very much.

Overall very pleasant stay, staff like Victoria made it even better with quick and accommodating service!

Victoria was incredibly kind and attentive to all of our needs, always offering things that I might have not thought of. I was here for two whole weeks, she showed up every single day and made the environment and the whole experience at this hotel, a 10 out of 10 experience.

The worst. Systems are messed up, hotel is understaffed. What a disaster. First room I got had a family already in it with a “beware of dog” sign on the door. Then I got a room but no key. Surly dude takes me to my room. Told to come back later. Eight hours later, there are four people in line and one staff person, who is solving for an imaginary problem, until the customer gets her straightened out. (That customer had a rate guaranteed here but the system wouldn’t allow it so they got sent to another property. 20 minutes later, I get a key.

It used to be good. But for the past 12 months, the computer system's down all 3 times that I stayed here
