Comfortable, clean, great location and people are friendly.

I have a bad back and regularly suffer with extreme pain. I had just left a spa retreat for treatment that involved in depth needle procedures. I decided to check into a hotel after treatment so I could run the hot shower water on my back and meditate in the steam. That night as planned I began running the shower when the fire alarm went off. We immediately went downstairs to staff to figure out the issue. After several trips downstairs they could not figure out the problem. Eventually staff came to the room door with the fireman and upon opening the door steam flooded out and the staff began to berate and belittle me on my use of the shower. They also claimed we were smoking in the room. THERE WAS NEVER ANY SMOKE IN THE ROOM. After being insulted and lied on we decided to leave immediately. We packed left the room immediately and within a few hours we saw that the room was charged off as if we had formerly checked out but we were still charged as if we had stayed the full 2 nights. Despite the fact that we left the same night we checked in. Also they did not charge us a smoking fee because there was NEVER any smoke in the room. I went up to the hotel the next business day to speak to the manager named Ayundae who also is a liar. After telling him what happened he stated he would investigate my claims. I asked if we could both go up to the room now and run the shower and see if it sets off the alarm. (AS I KNEW IT WOULD.) I asked 3 times and He told me no and at that point I knew I was not dealing with an honest person or business. Ayundae said he would investigate and contact be back in 3 business days. It’s been over 3 months and we have never heard back from the hotel and we were still charged the full fee for two nights despite them checking us out early. Stay away from this hotel.

Always a great time. Didn't realize until I arrived thay theu changed the name. Same great service though.

Front desk staff is good but it appears no moanagement has come in and changed policies for the worse. The hotel has really taken a step backwards.

Great all around experience here. The service from the front desk was especially great. I felt appreciated and I really liked my room. I slept like a rock.

AC wasn't plugged in when I got here, they didn't tell me that/ ask if I needed a parking pass. But worst of all the rooms don't come with a refrigerator. Of all the asinine things. Apparently you need to request them and there is no mention of that anywhere. I'd rather stay at a motel. I'll be in Dallas often for work but I'll not being staying here again.

The hotel was under renovation when I visited. It needs it. No issues although the wifi speed is severely lacking.

Our stay at the NYLO Plano Dallas Hotel was without question the worst hotel stay we have ever had. We booked a block of rooms for our son’s wedding. No one ever told us the hotel was under construction. The property was recently purchased by a new owner and will be called The Clara Hotel. With the construction in the front desk/lobby area, amenities were extremely limited. There were few places we could congregate to visit with our out-of-town guests. They should have had the courtesy to tell us so we could have the option of staying at another hotel. That was the tip of the iceberg. In our room, the shade was broken. The chain the raises and lowers the shade was detached. I immediately informed the front desk of the issue, but it was never repaired during our 3-night stay. Others in our party had issues with moldy comforters, burned out light bulbs that were not replaced, and blow dryers that would produce smoke and a burning odor. I talked with Omor, the hotel manager, about these issues. He told me the construction was mentioned on the hotel website, which was not. He said he would talk with the sales department and get back to me. He did not. The hotel’s lack of customer service is a blight on the Hilton brand. My personal recommendation: If you’re looking for a nice hotel to stay in Plano, avoid this one. There are many other hotels in the immediate area.

Decent hotel. Was in a good location for my use case. Staff is very nice and friendly. The rooms are nice and clean. I like that it's hardwood. My only complaints are no fridge and the gym basically just has a dumbbell rack and that's it.

This was my favorite hotel. Not anymore. Not a fan of the remodel. Paid parking even for diamond. No darkening drapes. All TV channels said. Not available. Staff was nice though.
