Excellent atmosphere and great service! It's a great place; the music is fantastic and they have a DJ. The cover charge is $10, which is quite reasonable. They have a good selection of beer brands for between $6 and $7; with a tip, a drink comes to about $10. I don't usually go to these kinds of places, but the atmosphere was so good that I had six (about $60 total). The place has a small patio in the back where you can hang out. It seemed like a close-knit community, as if everyone knew each other, since many of the people who arrived had reserved spots. As a fun and positive detail, they have a pool table, which is much appreciated. The bartenders and all the staff are very nice, attentive, and friendly. They make you feel at home, something that is greatly appreciated when you're not from the city. Highly recommended! Great vibe and amazing staff! Was there in 1993 for the Mr Drummer contest held in the city that year..... Got in good with the staff who on my last day presented me with a poster I had Joe bear and Matt ( Virginia formerly ) sign the poster so I could recall that the entire sequence of events waz real and got home had the poster framed and its been hanging ever since as tribute to the good times had during my 13 day stay in the city .. Now I will admit having the Lonestar staff to wander around during Folsom fair got me some good photos of the guys cutting up and letting loose and bringing me in on their merriment :)
