Legendary San Francisco piano bar. Come for the martinis, stay for the performance. Pineapple martinis and cosmos the way Carrie Bradshaw drank them decades ago. This place is for the baddie real ones.

Martuni’s is a favorite spot for my self and my friends and a gem to watch some of the best open mic in the city. That said, we were there this past Saturday night and they were clearly not monitoring how many people they were letting in. This was only an issue because one of the female staff members on the floor was physically shoving and pulling patrons around and telling them they couldn’t stand *anywhere*. I’ve never experienced anything like this in my life. We didn’t even make it to the bar to grab a drink before everyone was so upset we had to leave. I expect more from Martunis than being physically assaulted by their staff and hope they take this as an opportunity to retrain and do better.
