Come here once a year to celebrate special occasions. They always do something.

Third time here. The service is great, and the crowds depend entirely on the season. It is pricey, so expect that - but take advantage of the happy hour (they call it Sunset Hour) from 430-630. Everyone is super friendly. The pool can get crowded depending on season - lots of kids here when we were here back in May, almost none Labor Day weekend. You might have trouble finding a chair, especially a shaded one, in the afternoon on weekends. Yes, they have the cabanas - but they’re truly about 50% overpriced for what they are. They’re almost always all empty when we’re there, and at $300 day/weekend and $200 weekday you need to be pretty invested in sitting at the pool. At half that price they’d be a no brainer, but the value isn’t really there and seems like most guests agree and fight for deck chairs. Back again 5/2026: Still great overall. Spa is awesome. Pool is fun. Pool bar now open til 6. Staff is super friendly. Location is great. Bar and restaurant is good. But the pillows still are rough stuff! I’d really give it a 4.5+, but woke up with my neck hurting. Good thing I had a spa appointment that morning! ——— The rooms are great - I would spend the extra and upgrade to the Saarinen suites though, the private patio and double shower is really nice. My only complaint - the pillows! They’re either a sack of potatoes or three t-shirts inside another t-shirt. Please do something about this, Andaz. Everything else is nearly perfect.

I'll start by staying I've stayed at Andaz properties across the globe and hold Explorist status. This Andaz is maybe the worst I've seen. Arrival: As we pulled up to the property, the bellman briefly looked up from his phone and looked back down. We figured out which way the lobby was and proceeded to check in. Our booking included a welcome amenity, typically a bottle of wine, chocolates, etc. but nothing. We were told it would be delivered, but nothing. We called the front desk to ask about it and were told they'd be delivered between 4-6pm, still nothing. Room: Rooms are spacious and comfortable. The carpet in the living area is cheap and a bit tattered in spots. Pests: we saw 1 live roaches in our room within 12 hours of check in. My partner is terrified of bugs and immediately became uncomfortable. We called the front desk and the staff didn't seem terribly alarmed and sent someone to get it and spray. We decided to leave the room to allow the place to air out. Upon returning to the room after being out all day, we see another in the middle of the floor. 🤮. We had to ask for another room. Let's see how it goes. I don't have a feeling anything will be done to justify the high end price for this hotel, but I'll update my review if things improve.

Excellent service, beautiful property, quiet and not too crowded. On site restaurant: breakfast and drinks are good. Dinner was decent, on the bland side. Only area to improve would be that breakfast and coffee are available earlier than 7am. We stayed here through Amex FHR - they upgraded our room, the breakfast credit can be used until noon at the restaurant on site and is order off the menu.

Simply amazing... hard to put it any other way. Staff is attentive, caring, and on the ball. Colin greeted us, and we wished we could take him home - he's definitely one of the best. Gavin, Riley, and Juan went the extra mile to ensure we had everything we needed. A great place to spend a week or a weekend.... thank you!

A nice resort with low density layout bungalow design next to golf course in country club nearby

We absolutely loved our stay at the Hyatt onda Scottsdale. Ambiance of the property is so tranquil and peaceful and beautiful. It just sets the mood for relaxation. We loved the decor of the rooms, the local art and the wood beam ceilings. We opened the front and back patio doors letting the breeze flow through the room for a truly serene effect. The food and service were impeccable. I can't wait to come back to this property. Thanks for hosting us.

We stayed in room 4X…This hotel has events .. weddings etc and you hear the noise from that as well as the movements of breakdown and setup. Never stay in the lower room numbers if you’re expecting peace and quiet.

We had a short stay here before heading off to Sedona. This resort is tranquil and lovely. Walking around the property is such a joy. The staff is courteous and attentive. The breakfast is something that made us smile. Don’t skip it :)
