Rainbow Center is the LGBTQ+ community centre for Tacoma and Pierce County. It was founded in 1997 and is based at 2215 Pacific Avenue downtown. It offers support services, education, advocacy and a drop-in community space, and organises the annual Tacoma Pride Festival. Its yearly fundraiser is called the Gayla.
It's the main point of contact for organised LGBTQ+ life in the South Sound, and has good reviews from about 70 people on Google. Drop-in hours and group meetings change, so check the website before you visit.
