Hilton Garden Inn Phoenix/Tempe ASU Area

I stayed here again recently and just as my first visit, everything was amazing! Alison greeted me at the front desk with a warm smile. She even remembered me! After checking in, all I wanted was to put my bags away and get something to eat. The room was immaculate! It was so clean I thought it had been remodeled! I headed down to the restaurant where the amazing aroma of food was filling the dining area. The food was even better than the last time! I asked for a top shelf Mojito with my meal and it was the tastiest, most refreshing one I have had! Alison and team have impressed me once again!!

Very comfortable and clean rooms. Firm bed and soft pillows. Mini fridge AND microwave which comes in handy since we stayed 4 nights. Great happy hour discounts. The fried pickles and green beans were great with our cold beers on a hot day. The menu had a good selection. Breakfast buffet at $15.99 had a lot of choices, more than a continental breakfast. Grest for kids! Sarah greeted us as we came and went when visiting our daughter. Nice bar area with TVs to watch sports. No need to go anywhere to watch the game. Melissa took care of our room. Refreshed our room during our stay. The only downside to our stay was there was only one luggage cart available. We came with multiple bags then did shopping in the area so dragging all of our bags up and down would have been made easier with a luggage cart.

I would not suggest staying here. I stayed a night here and was woken up at 8 in the morning by house keeping banging very loud on every door in the hallway. Not a very comfortable experience. I told the front desk and they said they were going to fix the issue so hopefully that happens.

Sarah was extremely friendly and nice. A fun conversation after a long flight was definitely needed. The hotel was nice and in good condition. My only complaint was about the breakfast 15 bucks for basic breakfast wasn’t worth it to be honest. So I just made a run to nearest coffee shop and got good breakfast for around the same price. The water pressure was low. I almo didn’t stay here because people complained about the airplane noises but honestly I maybe only hear one plane. Will definitely be back.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but this experience was honestly very frustrating. My wife and I arrived at the hotel and there was no one at the front desk to help us. Later, I went downstairs because I needed assistance, tried calling, and once again there was no staff and no answer. The same thing happened when we checked out: the lobby was empty. Management really needs to improve the way they take care of guests.

Exactly what you expect in a standard hotel room, but with very helpful and pleasant staff! $3 bottles of water on the counter (not always labeled with price) Functional air conditioning, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker. Our room smelled moldy. Sliding door on bathroom. Small but nice pool open till 10:00 p.m.

The rooms have a bad smell.

This is the worst service that I ever get from front employee who's name is Melissa and weared glass lady. After long driving from Texas and I walked in this hotel at 2:20pm even though I already checked in by apps. She told me with attitude that room was not ready. I said nicely that I would wait. From this time, she looked at me that I bothered her resting time at front desk and she treated me with no respect. I went outside and waited for 40 minutes to check in. Finally I went in to check in, but she told me that the room that I checked was not ready and force me to move to 2nd floor room. That I didn't want. I said nicely because there was no reason to argue after long drive, how long I had to wait to check in. All of sudden, she told me with ugly attitude that she didn't know. She also mentioned that she was not housekeer. I asked her that she could ask the housekeeper to find out how long it would take. She looked at me top to bottom that she couldn't believe that I asked her that. At this time, I asked her permission to take her picture to show her how her face looked like. It was really insualting in front if my son with her attitude. She said no and ran away to some back room. I didn't take her picture, but I tried to call to the hotel manager, Alison Watson. It kept ringing and ringing. She didn't answer. Finally, assistance manager, Chris Fraser came out and tried to cover Melissa at the first. However, he apologized on behalf of Melissa' attitude after he listened my story. I just told him how come Melissa couldn't help me like Chris helped me. He apologized me again. I never had this type of insulting from front desk employee of my entire life. I don't think this employee, Melissa deserve to work this nice hotel at all. She will ruin the reputation of Hilton permanently.

Perfect location...restaurants and shopping are close within walking distance.
