Licht Café

Licht Café is a queer café and cocktail bar at 1520 U Street NW, upstairs from Big Planet Comics. Owner Spencer Hurd runs it as a coffee spot in the day and a bar in the evening, and it appears in the Washington Blade's queer bar guide. It's smaller and quieter than the clubs at 14th and U, which makes it a good place to start an evening or meet someone for a drink. Google rates it 4.7 from about 190 reviews.
