Licht Café

Cute spot! Great beer selection

This is my favorite bar in DC, mostly due to my favorite bartender, Branson. He makes the best drinks and I love how there are constantly new drinks that are great depending on the season!! For a long time, there were always the same old drinks that never changed which was boring, but now thanks to Branson there are constantly new drinks on the menu and new ones that pop up!! The drinks are also so well priced. Since he started here I feel like the environment is so much better! Whatever he's being paid isn't enough. Longer hours (open until 3 am, please!!) And more food would be great, though! Also shout out to Jay, Alex, Stefon, Angel and Garrett! Great bartenders!! Love you, Licht! ❤️❤️

Very chill space, friendly staff, great drinks

Great spot to have a couple drinks to start your night or hey make it the whole evening! It's cozy without feeling cramped and there are usually some friendly people to talk to. Seating can become a bit of a commodity but that's just an excuse to make friends imo. The espresso martini is tops but I'd also recommend the aviation or honestly just talk to the bartender and I bet they will have something good.

I didn't have food. Great atmosphere for a meet up with friends or meet new friends. Warm inviting environment

Stopped in for a pit stop when my bus was super delayed- it’s cute in here! Licht is upstairs, it’s cozy, and the happy hour deals are GOOD and active every day (including weekends)

Extremely tiny bar with a cozy feel. The drink prices were reasonable and the bar tenders were helpful and friendly. I will definitely be back!

So unique and lovely. When in town do not leave this place out of your bucket list. You will love it.
