Televisions are everywhere, broadcasting games to a crowd that swells significantly on weekend nights. It’s not a subtle experience; it’s loud, busy, and designed for group viewing. Sharing the same building is A League of Her Own, one of DC’s few lesbian bars. That proximity makes the complex a hub for LGBTQ+ nightlife in the neighborhood, though Pitchers itself leans heavily into the sports bar formula. Hours run Wednesday through Sunday. Midweek, it opens at 18:00. On weekends, the doors open earlier, with service stretching until 02:00 or 03:00 from Thursday to Saturday. Drink prices are reasonable for DC standards. Expect 18th Street to be packed around closing time, as Adams Morgan attracts a heavy late-night crowd.

My friend and I were next door at ALOTO and decided to try pitchers. Our bartender was absolutely lovely and we stayed till bar close. As we were finishing up our drinks and standing by the trash can chatting, the bouncer very rudely told us to finish up and “that you’re just standing there talking” yeah dude we’re finishing the drinks we paid for?? Idk why they had such a rancid attitude, but honestly ruined the experience

Sierra and Maddie are probably the best bar tenders I’ve ever had the pleasure of being served by. They were both incredibly attentive and served DELICIOUS drinks!! Heart them both they were amazinggggg!!

Prices are great for DC. Vibes are great. DCFM at this location is awesome! Only issue for me personally is location since I have to drive to DC and parking to get here isn't great.
