Wanda Alston Foundation

The Wanda Alston Foundation provides housing and support for homeless and at-risk LGBTQ+ young people in DC. It's named after Wanda Alston, an activist who led the mayor's office for LGBT affairs, and in 2022 a court picked it as receiver for Casa Ruby after that centre collapsed. Its listed office is 1827 Wiltberger Street NW, Suite 100. Details are at wandaalstonfoundation.org.
