Wanda Alston Foundation

The Wanda Alston Foundation is a Washington, DC nonprofit that runs housing programs and support services for homeless and at-risk LGBTQ+ young people. It is named after Wanda Alston, an activist who headed the DC mayor's office on LGBT affairs. In 2022 a DC court appointed it receiver for Casa Ruby after that organization collapsed.
