Hank’s Oyster Bar, Dupont Circle

Food was excellent, service was mixed. It was difficult to order and drinks took a while but food came out very quickly and was delicious.

My partner and I were in DC for several days for both work (him; conference) and pleasure (me, just tagging along!). We ate at Hank's in Dupont Circle on our last night in the area, and it was amazing! We ordered a half dozen oysters, the branzino, and the seafood fettuccine. And, what a nice touch to give us a few pieces of delicious, complimentary dark chocolate at the end of our meal (and the Goldfish crackers at the beginning was also the perfect touch!). *Keith, our server, was terrific, offering great suggestions and friendly, attentive service all evening. As a former server, I'm always extra appreciative of that. He even offered to take our pic before we left after he saw us attempting to snap a selfie. Was a pleasure meeting him, and we couldn't have been happier with our decision to check out Hank's as we wrapped up our trip. Thanks, Hank's Oyster Bar in Dupont Circle---we'll absolutely be back next time we're in the area and, in the meantime, will continue to sing your praises! *I hope I'm remembering our server's name correctly - have inquired about him via FB messenger and will update if I learn otherwise. :)

Keith took great care of us and gave us excellent recommendations. Oysters were incredible. Seafood fettuccine was 10/10. Grilled branzino was out of this world. Wonderful experience.

Went to Hanks for three brunches with my kickball team this summer. Was excellent every time.

Had such a good bottomless brunch here this weekend. Our server, Yana, was incredible (we’ve had her take care of us before, and ALWAYS is), the food is so tasty and the price is perfect. They’re such an accommodating space, even with large groups, and we had a great time this past Sunday. Definitely recommend for future brunches and all other times!!
