Hotel Hakuba

I went there in May with my mother and sister, and it's a wonderful and unforgettable hotel. Just staying there makes you feel happy. The food is delicious, and even the dining room is exciting! Everything is so cute, I want to go back to Hakuba Village just to stay at this hotel again. I will definitely go back someday!

It was a small, cozy hotel, and I was delighted to see so many flowers decorating the interior and entrance. I could even faintly smell incense. It wasn't incredibly luxurious, but I could feel the staff's thoughtfulness everywhere.

English: A wonderful hotel with excellent service and great food. One thing that could be improved is the availability of feminine hygiene products. The room provides razors, toothbrushes, toothpicks, combs, hair ties, and bath sponges, but surprisingly, there are no sanitary pads. It would be great if the hotel could provide them as part of the basic room amenities. Japanese: This is a very good hotel with excellent service and delicious food. The only thing that could be improved is the provision of feminine hygiene products. Razors, toothbrushes, toothpicks, combs, hair ties, and bath sponges are provided, but there are no sanitary pads. It would be appreciated if you could provide them as part of the basic amenities in the future.

The view is amazing! The room has a microwave. The service is decent.

The hotel staff provided wonderful service, and the food was delicious! I had left my bag on the train and was in a lot of trouble, but the staff kindly contacted everyone and searched for it, and it was found safely. I am truly filled with gratitude.

This is a review from my stay in May 2026. The scenery around the hotel was beautiful, the interior and guest rooms were very clean and well-maintained, and the staff provided excellent service, making for a comfortable stay. Both dinner and breakfast were buffet style, and everything was delicious; the Japanese dishes, in particular, suited my taste. If I have the opportunity to stay in this area again, I would like to use this hotel again.

If you're staying in Hakuba, this is definitely the place to go. My grandchildren, who are in elementary and middle school, also love this hotel. We sometimes stay here twice a year, and I've lost count of how many times we've been here. Every time, I'm impressed by the staff's attentive service, the hotel's atmosphere, and above all, the view from the hotel restaurant. A walk along the rice paddy paths while looking at the mountains is very pleasant, and I really love the unique scenery that this hotel offers. We'll definitely be back.

The hotel itself was very nice, with excellent facilities, and I appreciate the thoughtful touches, such as the shuttle service to the bus stop. However, one of the staff members, who appeared to be Nepalese, who I encountered in the restaurant, had a very large belly and seemed to be slacking off the whole time. His gait was noticeable enough to affect my appetite, and I felt that the staff should be more diligent in their management.

Stayed for three days. To visit #Togakushi Shrine #Hakuba Happo Pond #Hakuba Happo-one #Tsugaike Nature Garden The most satisfying experience was Hakuba Hot Spring. Every day was a high-intensity hike. Returning to the hotel and soaking in the hot spring ♨️ relieved my physical fatigue. I soaked in the hot spring twice every night ♨️ and felt refreshed the next day. Breakfast and dinner were quite substantial. The hotel also has a shuttle bus that can be booked to each cable car station. If you're planning a trip here, consider including this experience.

Good points: 1. The rooms are spotlessly clean. 2. The entrance and lobby are filled with flowers, and they are maintained daily. 3. While the meals don't include sashimi, sushi, or steak, delicious dishes using local ingredients are served. The white rice is tasty. 4. There is a shuttle service from the station. 5. Everything you need is available at Acoop, a 10-minute walk away. 6. Bicycle rentals are available. 7. Wi-Fi is fine. 8. Self-service coffee is available at the front desk almost all the time. 9. The staff are very polite and attentive. Bad points: 1. I doubt it's a hot spring. The analysis report says water is added, but if it is a hot spring, the water addition rate is extremely high. It's colorless, odorless, and has no viscosity; it looks like tap water. If this is what Himekawa Onsen is like, then so be it. 2. The meals are almost the same every day, and it gets boring if you stay for several nights. Half of the meals are Chinese food; I wish they would add more Japanese and Western dishes. Isn't this a Japanese hotel? 3. Because there is only one key, guests staying with two or more people have to leave the key at the front desk each time. 4. As with my previous stay, there were two instances where the toilet paper was not replenished. When I found a Japanese staff member on my floor and mentioned it, I was told to go to the front desk. I couldn't believe my ears. When I went to the front desk, I was asked if I was going back to my room now. When I said I would read in the lobby before returning, I was told to come back and they would give me some when I returned. I couldn't believe my ears. How many times do they make guests come back because of the staff's incompetence? My impression that the staff here are polite and attentive has diminished. Why does this hotel have to manage the toilet paper at the front desk in the first place? I feel like there's some hidden problem there. 5. Newspapers, which used to be available, are gone.

The staff are friendly, and the station pick-up and drop-off service is a huge boon for travelers with large luggage. You can also relax in the hot springs in the evening to unwind after a long day – highly recommended!
