I went there for the first time the other day. It's in an unusual location, and I think it's a fantastic place for people who like a hidden, secret base-like, underground atmosphere. However, the air quality is really bad. The low-ceilinged, enclosed space is filled with the smell of cigarettes, alcohol, and mold, so I think it's not for everyone. The tattered, sticker-covered coin lockers are typical of this kind of place, but the sticker showing the usage fee was peeling off, so I didn't know how much it cost at first. I thought it was 100 yen, but it was 300 yen. And 300 yen for a non-refundable coin locker seems a bit expensive... you can't easily take your belongings out. I think I'm partly to blame for causing this misunderstanding, but when I was looking at the merchandise line that was formed before the live performance ended, I was told rather forcefully, "Sales start at 10pm! There's plenty!" I felt like I was being labeled as someone who had sneaked in without permission, which was annoying... Apparently, it's the oldest club in Japan. Overall, it gave me the impression of a strong inside joke, and it was a bit of a high hurdle for a first-timer like me.
There are no opening hours listed online.
I went to listen to a live performance♪ I enjoyed the scenery of the river and mountains on my way there. The atmosphere of the venue and the guy at the drink counter were both very nice, so I'm glad I went.
The women's restroom is very smelly and dirty. Please clean it up a bit.
