Hotel DeBrett

Wonderful quirky hotel in a historic building. Conveniently located in the midst of the CBD, with shopping and cafes at the doorstep, and an easy jaunt to the waterfront. Lovely corner bar next door. Stayed in a two-storey suite with an internal spiral staircase.

We were here for a food tour today and had a great time. Beautiful hotel and our snack here was great. All local cheeses were amazing.

Hotel DeBrett is in an excellent location in Auckland - with short walks to restaurants, parks, bookstores, art galleries, and the marina/ferry landing. Everything about the hotel is very artistically done. Each staff member was kind and responsive. The restaurant's food was delicious (we ate breakfasts and dinner there.)

Very poor breakfast and small rooms, they only allow you one cup of a drink at breakfast, so for an extra cup of coffee they charge you 5NZD. To access the drawer in the wardrobe we had to open the bedroom door to allow the wardrobe door to open fully before the drawer could slide open. Good location.

This hotel is in a fantastic location, in walking distance to the waterfront, and close to many great restaurant options. The staff was friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable, and the shampoo/body wash was amazing. Small note: there were no security locks on the door (is that standard in NZ?) and the parking is a little far away. Would definitely stay here again if we return to Auckland.

Had a quick overnight stay at Hotel Debrett and was so impressed by everything! They complimentarily upgraded me to a lovely lofted suite. I really enjoyed the bath tub and comfortable bed, including a lavender-scented pillow. The service at the front desk was wonderful and location was perfect. I would absolutely stay here again the next time I’m in Auckland!

Go! A perfect welcome from a young Argentinian man. An ideal location. The restaurant is very good. The breakfast and reception staff took excellent care of us. Dreamy bedding. Perfect for exploring Auckland on foot, with trendy shops right at the hotel's doorstep 🤩

Hotel with exceptional value for money! We booked at the last minute after our flight was cancelled, and the staff took excellent care of us. We were offered a welcome drink and the breakfast was superb. Honestly, we highly recommend it.

Nice hotel with friendly staff but more of a 4 star hotel than 5 star. The food in the restaurant was really good. Spacious room & bathroom.

Just eaten at the restaurant Vivace amazing food and service. We will be back here again.

Great service all round, amazing Waitress too. The waitress that served me (Favour) was polite and very helpful. Had a great time.
