One of the good things about this hotel is its location. It is situated near Osmeña Circle with plenty of restaurants around, and the hotel is also connected to a mall and supermarket which makes everything very convenient. The pool area also has a great view and is a nice place to chill and relax. However, there were several disappointing aspects during the stay. The Wi-Fi was unstable, and the TV could not even connect to it, making it practically useless. The room also had no double lock, which was surprising for a hotel labeled as 3-star. There was also no bidet — only a bucket and tabo inside the bathroom. Another concern was that almost all toiletries were empty upon check-in. I did not bother requesting refills since I brought my own, but it was surprising that the room was released without properly checking if the amenities were complete. One of the room lights was also busted upon check-in, which added to the impression that the rooms are not properly checked before being released to guests. They also only provide 2 complimentary bottled waters and there are no water dispensers on the floors. The gym was another disappointment. There was no air conditioning, no drinking water available, and only 1 treadmill was functioning properly, which is basically the only decent equipment there. Service could also be improved. The front desk staff did not feel very welcoming, and I tried calling the front desk 3 times but no one answered the phone. Overall, for a hotel marketed as 3-star, I personally expected better standards in terms of facilities and service. There are many hotels around Cebu City that offer better value and service even at a lower price.

The pillow smells bad, sweaty pillow smell lol but location wise its very accessible. here is my experienced. I wanted to check out the pool area without intending to swim. The security guard followed SOP by asking for my pool access card. Although I had forgotten it, I went back to my room to get it and handed it to him. However, as my sister and I were trying to enjoy the view, the guard started taking photos of us, which I found highly inappropriate. Doesn't the facility have CCTV for guest monitoring? Why is a staff member using their personal phone to photograph guests? This violates our data privacy, and as a woman, I felt incredibly uncomfortable and disrespected. Interestingly, he completely ignored a male guest who was actually swimming. The guard was unfriendly, and due to this unsettling experience, we will not be returning. Next time, please train your pool security staff on data privacy and basic hospitality. As paying guests, we have the right to enjoy our getaway without feeling violated.

For me, staying at EON for 5 nights was one of the best re-routes from what we originally planned. The staff were very friendly and always smiling, especially the people working at the lobby. Although I had some issues with the internet, that wasn’t enough to stop me from liking the hotel. It’s very affordable and convenient since everything is easily accessible, and stores are very close to EON. One thing I wanted to ask though, why do the rooms have balconies if guests aren’t allowed to open them? It felt like such a waste of space haha. We were hoping to use it to dry our clothes since we had water activities in Oslob and Moalboal. Overall, I would definitely come back and book the same hotel again. I’ll surely recommend it to my friends and family.

Funny to see one girl made 3 accounts to give hotel 1 star because they charge her for stains haha. For me hotel was perfect. Clean and the room was smelling good. Hotel has nice view, gym and swimming pool. The staff was friendly too. Desk lady was smiling and friendly same as security guards. I don’t know why people complain maybe you are moody person if you smile they of course smile you back. I was expecting worst when I saw the reviews but when I come to hotel I was surprised it was clean and the room was smelling good. The bed was so comfy too.

Disappointing Stay – Internet Still Terrible After Years” It’s honestly disheartening to give this hotel two stars, but I’m just being truthful with my review. I’ve stayed at Eon Hotel multiple times already (around 5 times, including last Feb 5–6) for 2 nights stay.. I had the same internet issue years ago, and coming back now, nothing has changed. Still very poor. Still slow. Still unstable. So I guess “consistency” is the only thing Eon Hotel has maintained. My work was affected because of the internet connection. For a hotel located in the heart of the city, it’s surprising in a bad way that this basic service is still a problem. Internet is no longer a “bonus” for hotels. It’s a basic necessity. Guests rely on it for work, bookings, communication, pretty much everything. But somehow, this hotel still treats it like an optional feature. Makes you wonder what the management has been doing all these years if this issue has existed for so long and still hasn’t been fixed. You’d expect improvement. Apparently, that’s too much to ask. On top of that, the room was very small and there was no mini ref at all, which I didn’t expect. But their POOL is very nice infairness. Location is also great for us. However even their hotel has a great location and pool, still overall, I’m genuinely disappointed. Not sure if I’ll ever come back again unless the internet magically improves one day.
