The Selah Garden Hotel

We had 4 night stay in this resort/hotel. Our room was located in the 3rd floor, there's an elevator and the staff help us bring our things up. The check in and check out was quick, they ask for a 1000php when checking in which you will get back upon check out. We haven't used the pool but it looks really good, seen a lot of guests using it at night especially. We haven't tried their food as well. The room is okay, no duvet, just blanket, has 2 pillows. It has a fridge, glasses, pitcher to use. There's shampoo/conditioner/soap, towels. The place is spacious and air conditioned. Location was 7 min drive to SM Moa and near NAIA airport. The road leading to the resort is thin with kids playing around and people walking. There are worse days when the resort has a convention or like outings from school, which causes traffic due to big bus parking. Also, the students were very loud in the corridor, ringing our door bell, not good for my family with 6 month old sleeping already (although this is not the hotel's fault.)

the experience wasn't good first i ask the staff to refill our shampoo container and they doesn't explain about the minor, towels etc.

I have read several negative reviews about this place before, but I chose not to pay much attention to them. However, when we finally visited, I must say that our experience was quite disappointing. First, the room arrangement did not meet our expectations. It was agreed that only three people would stay in one room, but in reality, we ended up being ten people sharing the same room, with both males and females mixed together. Additionally, there was only one common bathroom for everyone, which was quite inconvenient. Second, the food, especially the dinner, did not leave a good impression. Lastly, the pool area raises safety concerns because the depth is uneven. Some parts are not easily noticeable, especially due to insufficient lighting in certain areas. It would be better if there were clear markings or additional lighting to help prevent accidents. We hope these concerns can be addressed to improve the overall service and experience for future guests. Thank you. (P.S. if low budget at nagtitipid pwede na 'to kaso don't expect too much)

I recommend this hotel as one of the best hotel to stayed in. The service was great and all the staff was polite and kind to their customers. They make sure that all you need will be given. The place is amazing ,relaxing and the people at the pool was always around to monitor the safety of the swimmers. Rates are very affordable, rooms are clean, parking available, and vibe is great!

Great value for money! I’m not sure why there are so many bad reviews for this hotel. In our experience, the receptionists were very nice and assisted us with all our bags. Security is solid with three guards at the entrance. The pool staff is also very attentive; I even saw a lifeguard immediately jump in to help a child in distress. They provide a microwave and water dispenser for free, though I suggest the staff check the water levels more often, as our gallon ran out and we had to go down to the lobby for a refill. The amenities are good, but I do wish they would limit loud party music to 8:00 PM; some guests just want to relax. One downside was the 11:00 AM check-out reminder call. We found this unnecessary and a bit uncomfortable, as we were fully aware of the time. Since there is a 1,000 PHP deposit, it might be better to just charge for late check-outs instead of calling the room. Also, parking is limited to about 5–6 cars, so I recommend bringing a motorcycle, taking a Grab, or parking at MOA. Overall, we will definitely go back! The plants and trees make it very refreshing, and there were no mosquitoes. Just a few facility improvements and it would be perfect.

Terrible place. Clueless staff, no hot water, the place is rundown. DO NOT EAT THERE OR DRINK THE WATER. I picked up two strains of bacteria and three strains of E. Coli from the meals there and using the tapwater to brush my teeth. I was hospitalized in both Manila and in Sacramento upon my return home and placed on antibiotics in both places.
