ITC Ratnadipa, ein Luxury Collection Hotel, Colombo

Very disappointing experience. We specifically came here to watch the FIFA World Cup 2026 match and arrived from half-time onwards expecting to enjoy the rest of the game. We ordered plenty of food and drinks and ended up paying a significant bill, assuming a place that promotes itself as a premium venue would provide proper coverage of such a major sporting event. Unfortunately, we were told to wait, and even after waiting, the match was still not shown properly. It was extremely frustrating to spend so much money only to miss the game we came to watch. The screen was also very small, making the viewing experience even worse. For a venue that claims to offer a high standard of service, this was far below expectations. Customers who come specifically for live sports deserve reliable coverage and better communication, especially after spending a considerable amount. Overall, the service was poor, the management of the event was disappointing, and the experience was not worth the money we spent. I would not recommend this place to anyone planning to watch important sporting events unless they improve their service and ensure the matches are actually shown as advertised.

We visited ITC Colombo spontaneously today and never expected such an unforgettable experience. A very special thank you to Ms. Rasodya, who immediately offered to show us around the hotel, even though she is currently a trainee. She generously took the time to give us a comprehensive tour of the property, and her passion, professionalism, and genuine enthusiasm were evident throughout. Her dedication went far beyond what we would ever have expected from a spontaneous visit. As I am currently studying Luxury Hospitality at the EHL Hospitality Business School Lausanne, this experience was especially inspiring. Ms. Rasodya shared the philosophy and standards of luxury hospitality in such an authentic and engaging way. She is a true asset to ITC Colombo, and we sincerely hope she has a long and successful career with the company. Thank you for this wonderful experience. We highly recommend ITC Colombo and hope many other guests have the opportunity to meet such an exceptional ambassador/trainee of the hotel.

Tried to book myself in at 12:30am after a tiring journey and was met by reception staff who insisted I pre-book online and this was unsuccessful because I was not a member. The security staff were friendly and gave me a list of other hotels I could try. I ended up at the Shangri la.

The food was beautifully presented, with an impressive variety of delicious dishes, and the atmosphere was elegant and relaxing. A special thank you to Lakruwan for his warm, attentive, and professional service. He went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable experience. His genuine hospitality truly made our visit extra special. Our sincere appreciation also goes to the entire staff for their friendliness, courtesy, and excellent customer care. Their dedication to providing outstanding service made us feel genuinely welcomed throughout our visit. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a world-class dining experience in Colombo.
