Fong Kaew and Baan Nang Fa Guesthouse

Excellent hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Room kept spotlessly clean. Fresh towels daily for the bathroom and the beach. 15 minute walk to the beach at Patong Bay. Rooms tastefully decorated. Highly recommended.

Nearly everything within my pay range was booked out in Patong, and I was getting desperate. Then I found this little hotel. What an absolute treasure it proofed to be. In the backroads, away from the drunks and the riff-raff, lies this lovely place. The rooms are nice and good sized. Marcus, the Belgian born owner, proved to be a fantastic host (and a man obsessed with ironing bed sheets). He was a rare island of sanity in this otherwise insane place called Patong. I hope I never have to get back there, but if I do I will make sure to stay with Marcus. Thanks mate!

We enjoyed our stay, it‘s perfect for party people, the Paradise Complex is right around the corner. The rooms are quite. The staff is very friendly, we didn‘t meet the owner Marcus though, maybe next time. The rooms are very large, we stayed longer so we got an upgrade and even had a kitchen. The rooms are clean. The shower of the last room was congested and the blankets had some stains. This should be corrected in the future.

Large nice rooms and also very clean! Large bed and also a sofa. Very close to the beach - perhaps 5-6 minutes by foot It is not located by the main road, so it is very quiet The owner, Markus is very polite and can make very nice recommendations according to your needs. So you'll have a fluent english speaking person if you'll finally need for someone to speak your language :)) I will definitely stay here each time in Patong!

Stayed her during Song krang, Thai new year. Great place to stay. Nearby gay-street for party just 2min walk. Also nearby all the restaurants and blangla road. Marcus the owner will help you with everything.

Thanks Marcus and staff for a lovely 5 days stay at your guest house, I enjoyed my stay and hope to see you all again next year if not sooner , the location is great for the gay night life,just 3 minutes walk from guest house, about 10 to 15 mins to the beach

I rented a 2 bedroom apartment for two months (April to June, 2017). Renting from Marcus was like renting from a family friend. He's just a great guy and made me feel welcome - like my needs and cares were a top concern. The apartment was exactly what I needed and exactly where I wanted it to be in relation to the things I wanted to do in Phuket. I couldn't have asked for more.

What started out as a few days in Phuket ended up with us bugging Marcus to extend our stay until we spent nearly 2 weeks in Phuket! Thanks, Marcus, for going out of your way for us and making the stay fun and memorable. We loved the accommodations, the atmosphere, and the helpful advice. It was my first trip to Phuket, so I appreciated all of the help! When I come back to Thailand, I will be staying here again!

I did book this guest house from an iPad at the airport so no time to check reviews etc. The taxi driver did take about 15 minuets to find the place, this is due to it being tucked away down a side street off of the colourful Paradise Complex one way system. Location is near perfect for Bangla Road, beach, restaurants and shops. Marcus and the team are all helpful and welcoming the rooms are more than adequate with good air, fridge, safe etc. If you are expecting a 5 star hotel, then it's not for you but for a clean, guest friendly, budget guesthouse look no further. Well done guys.

very good value hotel. very good location and very nice room. if you like nightlife this is the place to be . every room has a safe that keeps your important belonging safe. I will keep on coming back to this guesthouse. wonderful owner
