Beautiful souk-style hotel. Wonderfully cool rooms, nicely decorated. Excellent staff. Very extensive breakfast. Top location.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful hotel. The location is perfect—just a five-minute walk from the main square—making it ideal for exploring everything Bologna has to offer. The building itself is full of character, set in a converted historic home that really captures the charm of the city. There’s a lovely courtyard garden to relax in after a busy day, and a bright, welcoming orangery where breakfast is served. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. We booked the quad room, which was spacious, spotlessly clean, and had a great-sized bathroom. If you’re looking for somewhere that truly reflects the charm and atmosphere of Bologna, you won’t need to look any further—this place is a great choice.

Excellent location and a great hotel to explore the city. We had a large room with a separate lounge area with a pull out bed. Would book again.

A lovely & beautiful hotel that has adapted to the environment and not the other way round. Our spacious room was beyond the inner courtyard garden. The service was excellent and I will book this hotel again on my future Bologna excursions.

The hotel is ideal. The service is incredibly friendly and attentive. We were given a room in the apartments, which are a few doors down from the main hotel. Although this isn't mentioned in the booking, it's not a problem at all, except that you have to go to the hotel for breakfast. The cleaning service was quite efficient, and the breakfasts were delicious and varied, with the waiters very attentive to anything you might need. If I return to Bologna, I would definitely stay here again.

A delightful property nestled in the heart of Bologna's historic center. A truly welcoming setting, adorned with a meticulously maintained garden and a breakfast room within, offering a truly relaxing wake-up call amidst the historic, colorful walls. Well-appointed rooms with all the comforts and overlooking the well-kept and delightful internal courtyard. Breakfast was a standard selection of sweet and savory options, with attentive service from the bar staff. The addition of Parmigiano Reggiano and high-quality local cured meats, a testament to the region's riches, is a special mention. The bathroom, however, lacks counter space. The reception staff were discreet, functional, and professional. A recommended property for a stopover or a stay.

Four stars for very little, room with the bare minimum.
