Barcelona Queer Film Festival 2026
Über dieses Event
The Barcelona Queer Film Festival (BQFF) is a significant event in the city's cultural calendar, dedicated to showcasing LGTBIQ+ cinema. Now in its third edition, the festival presents a curated selection of films that explore queer themes, offering a platform for diverse narratives and voices within the community. Beyond film screenings, the festival often includes related activities such as literary events and art exhibitions in the days leading up to the main event. Screenings typically take place at venues like Cinema Maldà. The festival aims to foster understanding and visibility for LGBTQ+ stories, contributing to a more inclusive cultural landscape in Barcelona. It's an opportunity for cinephiles and the LGBTQ+ community to engage with compelling cinematic works that reflect their experiences and challenges.
