The atmosphere is typically English, a little rural. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The service was quick. The food is very good and plentiful. I recommend making a reservation and definitely going.

Cute pub with some nice food. The price and the menu are my only complaint. The price was a little high but I'm willing to pay it for the food. The menus are written in the worst text I've ever seen. So difficult to read and its written in a "quirky" way which falls between cute and frustrating.

I'd pay any amount of fishermen to eat here!

Fantastic find as we explored the city! Close to the hotel we were staying in and definitely not in a typical location (for Americans, anyway :)). LOVED IT!!!

Wow! Do NOT MISS THIS! We traveled throughout Scotland for 2 weeks and at the end of our journey we popped into this place for a bite for a late lunch/early dinner and it’s by far the BEST food we had. We had the pork belly bites as a starter and wow! Even the wee salad was amazing. The steak pie was perfect and my husband had the steak (to which he is never impressed by at restaurants) and he said it was probably the best one he has had at a restaurant- ever. Absolutely amazing food and the service was just as good. Enjoy!
