Das Atlanta Pride ist die größte LGBTQ+-Feier im amerikanischen Süden und verwandelt den Piedmont Park und das Midtown-Viertel jeden Oktober in ein buntes Festival, das über 300.000 Besucher anzieht. Die Parade zieht an einem der schönsten Herbst-Wochenenden durch den Peachtree Street und in den Piedmont Park, wo das Festival mit mehreren Bühnen stattfindet. Atlanta ist zudem Heimat einer der lebendigsten und sichtbarsten schwarzen LGBTQ+-Communities der USA.
