I did the Eau Claire Food and Drink experience box. What a great idea to bring the tour to us!! I enjoyed sampling all the local goodies from the comfort of my home and the presentation was well done! I can't wait to try one of their walking tours post COVID.
Wow! We didn't realize how much wonderful food and history Eau Claire had! Enjoyed every bit of food everywhere we went and the craft beers at the Pablo and the flight of wines at the Rev were super. And, what's even better is that all of these points are just a short walk of one another. Nick was our tour guide and was great, he spent closer to 4 hours with us instead of the initial 3 hour tour. I highly recommend taking this in on your next visit to Eau Claire.
I booked this tour for part of a date, and it was a really fun, engaging, and relaxed way to enjoy each other's company while enjoying good food, drink, and information. Our tour guide, Amanda, was incredibly kind and knowledgeable, and we had a great experience.
This tour gave me the chance to see new places around Eau Claire even though I have lived here most of my life. It was fun to learn about the historical facts of this growing community. The food and drinks we were given were out of my comfort zone but I loved all of it! Amanda, our tour guide was very personable and knowledgeable of Eau Claire which made this tour very enjoyable! I will be booking the Chippewa tour in the near future!
The Eau Claire Tour was the perfect way to celebrate my parents' Wedding Anniversary. We all loved it - the history, the food, and meeting all of the great local chefs and business people. Everything was wonderful! Amanda did a great job. This tour worked perfectly for our family, but I also think groups of friends or couples would have a great time......even local businesses could use this as a recruiting tool to the area, team builder, gratitude event, etc. Thank you Chippewa Valley Tours!
My daughter surprised us with this tour for our 50th wedding anniversary. Even though we have lived in Eau Claire our entire lives, we were amazed at all the interesting facts we learned from our tour guide. The warm reception and delicious food we experienced at each stop made for a wonderful experience. A few of the stops were a first for us. We were so impressed that we look forward to returning to them soon. I would recommend this event for families and friends. I could also envision a company using this format for employees. We had children as young as 10 in our group that loved the experience. I now look forward to the tour this company offers in Chippewa Falls. Sue B.
We did the Eau Claire and the Chippewa Falls History and food tours. The tours where very informative and fun. The food was fabulous! Had a wonderful time. Definitely recommend this event!
Pleasant, complimentary guides that were knowledgable about the history of the downtown, the old and the new. They were able to answer our varied questions about the area. The food and drink were "over the top" as were the craftspeople that introduced them to us. We recommend this tour.
What a great way to spend an afternoon with my husband learning the history of Chippewa Falls! The food was amazing, tour guide was energentic and fun and the atmosphere was layed back and comfortable. Would recommend for a date night or get a whole group of friends together and book the group slot. Definatly going to book a tour for Eau Claire this season!
If you like food, with just the right amount of history, this tour is for you! I've passed through Eau Claire on many occasions while road tripping through Wisconsin, but never would have thought to try the Chippewa Valley Tours Food and History tour of Eau Claire, until a friend recommended it! It was the absolute perfect variety of food, drink, and history. The highlights for me, were The Lakely (best charcuterie board you'll find in the Midwest), and the build your own wine flight at The Rev. Our tour guide, Amanda was awesome, too! She was thoughtful, and thorough with all of the information she gave, and was excited to show us around town. I highly recommend this tour to anyone, really, and especially those who might be new, or currently reside in the Eau Claire area (college students, parents, grandparents, ANYONE)! Hope you enjoy as much as we did!
