Indianapolis LGBT Film Festival

The Indianapolis LGBT Film Festival is a volunteer-run festival under Indy Pride, the nonprofit behind the city's Pride festival and parade. The proceeds go to Indiana Youth Group, which works with LGBTQ+ teenagers. Partners include the Heartland Film Festival.
Most screenings are at Kan-Kan Cinema on Windsor Street, an independent cinema and restaurant that also houses the Indianapolis Film Project. The festival added online streaming in recent years, so many films stay available on demand for a while after the in-person screenings. In 2026 the festival also lists BenDeLaCreme's holiday show at the Murat Theatre on the opening night.
Practical: Kan-Kan is in the Windsor Park area northeast of downtown. The 26th edition runs 13 to 19 November 2026, according to the festival's own posts, with a few shorts showcases at Kan-Kan in the days around it.
