Cherokee Park

Would recommend highly as a great place to walk, run, or bike. This park is very well kept and clean and provides a wonderful, beautiful, and peaceful place for individuals, couples, and groups alike. It is centered on the "scenic loop" which has both a walking path and a ONE-WAY driving path. There are frequent parking spaces and exits out of the loop. There are also trails through the center of the park (paved and dirt), as the scenic loop goes around the parameter. There are two main places to stop along the loop: 1) Has a playground, spray ground, an area to eat with tables, and grills to cook stuff. 2) There is a large pavilion at rhe crest of a hill with a beautiful view of the surrounding landscape. All parking is free along the loop.

Quiet spot for a hike or meditation. Beautiful trails.

Please keep this Park clean and nice looking, it's the best Park in Louisville.

Just a nice peaceful part of the city to get away. Trails are great even after some of the washouts.

We love the park! Great for our weekly hikes. Love seeing the deer, too.
