The Grand Laurel Hotel - Philadelphia

Hotel is very dated and not clean. Bed sheet had a blood stain and bathroom had mold. Room smelled like cigarette if I wasn’t exhausted from traveling and being at a festival all day I would have stayed somewhere different. I had no choice with my 1:30am check-in but kindly asked for a late check out which they told me was fine up until 2:00pm. When I asked to extend the checkout they told me they couldn’t accommodate the 2:00pm checkout which I was paying for… anyway. The property lawn has not been cut or maintained it look like for months… stay at your own risk you been warned. It was on discount but next time I’m just paying the price for a decent hotel

the bar close, snacks close. No coffee

I was frustrated by the fact that the hotel does not provide a bottle of water as part of the stay package. I dtand corrected but a resort style hotel of its calibre should at least provide a free bottle of water daily.

I got a great deal on a very comfortable, well-appointed room with a stunning view of the sunrise. My only minor complaint: there was only one dose of regular coffee (two doses of decaf) alongside the in-room coffee maker.

The hotel needs some renovation, the bed is uncomfortable the water pressure in the bathroom was very low more like a trickle, the restaurant is shut down even the little snack area is shut down. The hotel have a musty smell in the hallway the hallway is dark and creepy The place is basically a dump my daughter didn’t even wanted to sleep on the bed I will never set foot in that place again unless it’s renovated

I stayed here for my nephew’s graduation and had a great experience. The ballroom was beautiful, and the huge TV showing pictures and memories of the students made the event very special. The staff was friendly, and the food and drinks were amazing. The front desk mentioned the hotel is under new management, and you can really see the positive changes. The room was very nice, and although the bathroom was a little small, it was clean and modern. I would definitely come back for future events with friends and family.

i loved this hotel, definitely recommend coming here. its calm has good big rooms, food was great. definitely recommend coming during june for pool and more of a vacation vibes.

Had an amazing stay at Grand Hotel! The new management has done an incredible job creating such a welcoming and enjoyable experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the overall atmosphere was beautiful and relaxing. Everything—from the food to the service—exceeded my expectations. It was truly one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had, and I would definitely love to come back again. Highly recommend!
