Rainbows Festival Phoenix

The Rainbows Festival is Phoenix's spring LGBTQ+ street festival, produced by Phoenix Pride and running since 2002. It is free and takes over Heritage Square (115 N 6th St) downtown for a weekend of vendor stalls, community groups and stage acts. Phoenix New Times billed it as Arizona's second-largest LGBTQ+ event, with more than 150 vendors and over 20,000 visitors claimed by the organisers.

The 2026 edition ran on 28 and 29 March, from 10am to 6pm both days. Phoenix Pride filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy two months later, so treat 2027 as unconfirmed until the organisers announce dates. Late March is pleasant in Phoenix, with daytime highs usually in the 70s and 80s °F; bring sunscreen and water anyway.
