Omni William Penn Hotel

My husband and I stayed at the William Penn last week for the Dodgers series at PNC Park, and we had such a great stay! Rodney greeted us with a smile as soon as we pulled in for Valet Service, he was very sweet, and welcomed us back when we said this was our second time staying. We had also shared a very brief moment with Mark in the elevator while he was taking luggage to another guest, and he was so funny and had such a great personality, he left a great impression on us just being in the elevator! The room was beautifully done and had a nice view of the fountain across the street. My only note is that the half and half creamer for the coffee in the room was very chunky, making it unappealing to drink. We had breakfast in the Terrace Room on our last day, and Teddy took great care of us. Torell was also great, always had a smile for us while making sure our drinks were well taken care of as we enjoyed our breakfast. The hotcakes with blueberry sauce were incredible, and my husband got the Pittsburgh style Benedict. He said the hollandaise was the best he has ever had! The walk from the Omni to PNC Park was so convenient as well, such a great distance to really get a good vibe of the city. We really enjoyed our stay, and will definitely come back again!

It's a pity there's no swimming pool

I actually attended a conference in the Omni William Penn hotel, so I don't know about the rooms, but the hotel is so beautiful on the inside. Very ornate! Revised Review - 6-22-26: Literally, one of the most beautiful and historic hotels I’ve had the pleasure of visiting. Beautiful chandeliers and architecture!

Parking garage around the corner and much more available than valet. The hotel is beautiful and the room is as well. I was staying for a convention there and was very impressed with all the accommodations. Not sure the pricing but definitely lovely and a nice downtown area.

I booked the hotel for 2 nights for a Springsteen concert in May . However, I had a medical emergency and was at the ER and was not able to go. I know my room was non refundable but since I was in the ER I was hoping they would give partial refund or give me credit for 2 nights to stay some other time. I was denied both. I do understand the hotel was within their rights. However, it was disappointing to say the least to not even get credit for another time.

The hotel room was awesome! The hotel was beautiful. The Speakeasy was fun. Was told when I checked in that I could ask the concierge about what to see and do in Pittsburgh. Asked in the morning and spoke to a nice lady. But unfortunately she turned out not to be the concierge. They don’t actually have one. Gave us awful directions to attractions that don’t exist. Spent most of the day walking around and saw nothing. Turns out walkable was 40 minutes. There is nothing in walking distance from this hotel. Public transit is super confusing so don’t even bother. This is a business district . This is not a tourist city. If you just stay and enjoy the hotel you will be happy. Highly recommend for business travelers. Tourists wil be disappointed.
