Broken Hill Oasis Motor Inn

Nice motel, code on the door for access no pesky keys to lose. We were headed for South Australia and realised we had to get rid of our organic fruit and veg that we had bought ☹️ I went to a housekeeper to see if they would like them and was met with, what’s wrong, when I explained she said, and I Quote ‘yeah leave it we will take what we want’! To be honest I should have thrown it all in the bin with that attitude.

Unstaffed but book online for easy service and the rooms are great.

The rooms here are quite large and comfortable, the place is ageing but they seemed to be on top of any maintenance issues. Parking can be very tight especially if you are in room 10 and 11 but there appears to be a vacant area adjoining the motel. I would stay here again when I am next in town.

No one available, we received a PIN code to get access to our room. The address said laundry on site but you cannot access without a fob. Note on the office door said to call this number if any questions…called and it said message bank full try later. I also left a message on booking.com which was not acknowledged. Fair enough to have it automated but you must be contactable! What would happen if out room code didn’t work….not good enough!! Edit- It started to get cold, when I tried to turn on the aircon I found the remote had flat batteries so had to use some of my own to get it started!

Nice clean & comfy rooms. Well priced and staff are friendly. Located away from city centre so it's quiet & peaceful. Highly reccomended.

Clean, tidy and cheap, suitable for a work trip, no issues.
