Pune LGBTIQ Pride March

Pune Pride — formally the Pune LGBTIQ Pride March — has been held since 2011, when Samapathik Trust organised the city's first march. It now takes place each June, in recent years as two parallel marches led by different community groups (including MIST LGBTQ Foundation and the YUTAK Charitable Trust), each drawing several hundred participants. It is Pune's most visible queer event and the best moment for visitors to connect with the local scene. Exact dates and routes are announced by the organisers a few weeks ahead.
