Visitors praise the welcoming staff and friendly atmosphere, with many enjoying the unique experience. However, some note that it's a niche, local-oriented gay bar with a dress code (fundoshi required) and potential language barriers for foreigners.

Beautiful bar, very discreet, very hard to find, mostly for 30+. Public is very local, trying to decompress after a workday. Sake selection is amazing, prices are fair. I don't think they serve food (but there's restaurants and stalls everywhere around the bar). You have a short bar with stools and some tables. Lights are dim. Everyone uses a fundoshi and nothing else. If you want, there's a room besides the lockers and shower/toilet to be more intimate. Staff is amazing, owner is an incredible person. There's a language barrier but now everything is spoken language (and you can bring a cellphone to use translation). Great to go alone and great to go with friends. 🐻
Amazing place!! its like a place where friends come in to hang out tease and each other, no judgement and the hosts are welcoming, there is still a language barrier since their main audience are the locals, but quite welcoming to foreigners and willing to chat with a translator app/unit. I highly recommend this place, will come back as many times I can during vacation
I loved the place and the crowd. The facilities are new, everything is spotless. The people are very friendly. And, even though they don't speak English, I had the opportunity to interact with almost everyone. I would definitely go back. You have to go up the stairs to get there, because it's not signposted downstairs, but Google Maps shows you where it is.
Thank you, boss. I'll come again once my Japanese has improved.
Amazing staff, great atmosphere. Obviously very niche, read the rules of the place. You won’t be disappointed.
Foreigners are welcome and staff will be extremely friendly and make anything on their side to make you feel welcome, but, make no mistake, this place is more local oriented and usually they don’t tend to look for foreigners, so it may be a waste of time, but the experience itself it’s worth the time and money. Real shutout to staff, they tried so hard to communicate with me and make me feel comfortable, really appreciated. The place is very small.
