This is the guesthouse we stayed at in Nagoya for four nights. The rooms were spacious and clean, and we could buy our own groceries and cook. There was also a small bar in the lobby on the 7th floor, with a nice atmosphere and reasonable prices. There was also a large terrace outside where you could stargaze at night and watch football matches during the day. It wasn't located in an urban jungle, so it felt really nice.

The check-in and check-out process was very smooth. I registered my existing transportation IC card as my key during check-in. The room was clean and tidy, and had a microwave, refrigerator, cooking utensils, and dish soap, making for a comfortable stay. It was also great that I could use the free shuttle bus from Nagoya Station on my way back.

I stayed here for the first time because my favorite artist was having a concert nearby. The hotel is on the 7th floor of a multi-purpose building. When I waited in the lobby until check-in time, I found it was a common area open to non-guests, and there was a piano there. Several girls, who looked like elementary school students, were playing the piano noisily (though not at a level that would cause a headache), and three boys, who looked like middle school students, were fighting on the sofa, making a racket. The table was dirty and in a terrible state. When I told a hotel employee, they said, "No matter how much we tell them to stop, it's no use; it's the building's responsibility," and did nothing. I was baffled by their inaction despite the terrible situation, so I said, "Well, if that's the case, they could damage the property, and it's so bad you should report it to the building manager." I felt they had given up on solving the problem before even trying to intervene. After that response, I decided this hotel was no good. If it's the building's responsibility, I think the building manager should take immediate action. There are signs discouraging disruptive behavior, but they're completely ineffective. The hotel itself is relatively new and clean, but the room I finally escaped the noise into, despite being a non-smoking room, reeked of cigarette smoke from the air conditioner... It was room 701. Probably a guest with bad manners smoked there... It was a hot day, so I couldn't help but use the air conditioner, but even after spraying air freshener and blasting the air purifier, the smell wouldn't go away... I endured it since it was only for one night, but it was incredibly difficult. I think anyone who doesn't smoke would understand. In short, I will never stay there again, I wouldn't recommend it to others, and I would stop anyone considering staying there. You should reconsider; there are plenty of good hotels in Nagoya.

It's really spacious, so it's fine for one person, but I think it's great value for money for families or friends 👍️ You'll need to bring your own bedding and toiletries 👍️ There's also a fun (free) shuttle bus from Nagoya Station, so please use it if you have some extra time 👍️
