JR-EAST HOTEL METS PREMIER YOKOHAMA SAKURAGICHO

This was my first time in Yokohama, and I planned to take the cable car. To make it convenient, I booked this hotel right next to Sakuragicho Station. There's a small department store downstairs, which is nice for shopping. The restaurant is also on the first floor. The lobby is on the third floor. They have a full range of amenities, including bath salts, bath towels, face masks, razors, coffee, and tea bags. They also offer complimentary coffee, which makes waiting less tedious. The staff were very friendly, the rooms were clean and tidy, and the price was reasonable. I recommend it.

I stayed for one night by myself. The room size was perfect, and I appreciated having a separate bathroom and toilet. I was able to relax and unwind in the spacious bath after a long day. The bed was just the right firmness, not too soft, and I slept soundly. I am grateful for the excellent hospitality I received, where everything felt just right. Thank you. I was also happy that they granted my request for a room with a nice view. The amenities and facilities were of good quality, so I will definitely stay here again. Thank you!

The hotel is close to the station and the staff were helpful, but the breakfast was disappointing. We had to wait a while for staff at the breakfast venue, and the toast was dry.

The location is fantastic, just across the street from Sakuragicho Station. The convenience stores and supermarkets near the station are very convenient, and there's also a drugstore across the street from the hotel. The rooms were very clean, the amenities were great, and the soundproofing was excellent. This time, my room faced the railway; you had to listen very carefully to hear the train noise, even from the window. I couldn't hear any noise from other rooms. However, the view wasn't great; you could only see other buildings outside the window. The hotel lobby has a self-service coffee machine and offers cocoa. The laundry room has an ice machine, which is very convenient. There are also vending machines nearby, so I always made myself an iced drink when I returned to the hotel in the summer. I stayed for a week and used the washing machine a few times. The dryer function was excellent; clothes came out only slightly damp and were completely dry the next day after hanging in the room overnight. Breakfast is available for purchase; the taste was acceptable. The Japanese-style items were better, while the Western-style breads were more average. The pasta was sometimes dry and sometimes wet, the quality was inconsistent. The juice was a bit too sweet; you should add water or ice for children. The coffee wasn't as good as the self-service coffee machine in the hotel lobby. The lobby staff were very professional and spoke fluent English.

Despite being directly connected to the station, it was surprisingly quiet, and I was immediately delighted by the elegant atmosphere. I'm usually very particular about bathrooms and often just take showers when I'm traveling, but this room was sparkling clean everywhere, spotless, and for the first time, I was able to relax and enjoy a bath in the bathtub! I was also really grateful that the bathroom and toilet were separate. I'm also particular about the firmness and height of pillows, and I usually have trouble falling asleep, but the pillow here was a perfect match for my ideal, and I slept soundly until morning. The fact that they provided four pillows, the size of the bed, and two bath towels and towels each was truly exceptional. I felt so relaxed, like I was at home, that I wondered what all my previous unrelaxing hotel stays had been about, and I finally found the perfect place to stay. From now on, this will be my regular hotel in the Kanto region! I plan to conquer all of Hotel Mets, especially the "Premium" brand. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

It was located in a perfect spot for tourists, being close to the station. The room and bathroom were spacious, allowing for a relaxing stay.

The staff is the worst

The staff provided excellent customer service, being very polite and attentive. The staff's smiles were also wonderful. There was one person who seemed grumpy, but everyone else was so great that it didn't bother me.

I used this hotel because I had a wedding in Yokohama. It was my first time using it. The bathroom was spacious, which was great. I was also happy that they had shampoo. My father works for JR (Japan Railways), so I used the hotel. I was impressed by the display of tickets and other items on the JR 1st floor. Thank you.

I booked a non-smoking room, but I couldn't sleep because of the smell of cigarettes. There was water stains on the sink counter, white spots, and dust; it seems the cleaning wasn't thorough. The walls were also quite dirty. It seems the head office is aware of the problem, but the company is unable to address it effectively. The staff also seem poorly trained; they didn't seem to know how to communicate with guests properly. It was a very poor experience. It seems they are understaffed. I will never stay here again.
