El Madeline Boutique Hotel and Suites

The front desk lady Won't even listen Saturday 9am April 2026, busy sa phone and won't entertain a potential guest how could she with that fake smile , it's like she just wanted to get back to her phone . The guard was good thou did his Job professionally.

I stayed at The Madeline Boutique Hotel for 4 nights. I was very happy with my stay here. Positives: 1. Great Location. Only a few minutes drive to SM shopping centre or Abreeza shopping centre. 2. Fantastic Coffee shop and restaurant on the Ground floor. Very nice tea and coffee, as well as a decent menu. Very convenient. 3. Breakfast was simple, but very good. A choice of either American Breakfast or Pinoy Breakfast. Order more if you’re still hungry! I was very happy with the breakfast and they had a very nice selection of Teas and Coffees. 4. Service was Excellent. 5. I felt like I was at home during my stay. 6. A decent shower, warm water, clean sheets. 7. The hotel is designed and built out of shipping containers, however, they have designed and built it very well. Negatives: 1. A bit of road noise as the Hotel is right beside the road, but just wearing ear plugs to bed seemed to do the trick. Overall I would recommend this Hotel to my family and friends, and will be staying here again upon returning to Davao.

the suite was huge! long. very spacious. i wanted to try this room just because. i have been to madeline many times. i very much love their bed and their beddings. the sheets always smell nice. this is one of my go-to places to relax. i will always keep coming back for staycations. i always have very good sleep here.

Ever want to rate a place more highly than it really deserves? This place made me feel that. Cute boutique hotel in mid-town Davao about 30 minutes from the airport. Reasonable rates. Booked through my airline miles program. On site restaurant that offers a limited breakfast selection. Cash & credit card payments and probably e-wallet options accepted. Looks like maybe it's constructed out of used shipping containers - which I applaud from an environmental perspective - this is a very aesthetically pleasing little place that struggles in some basic ways. Staff is pleasant. Room provides the expected amenities. A few toiletries. Dry bathroom with semi-enclosed shower. The only problem is that it wasn't working for me when I went to take a shower. Hot water would come out of the faucet but when I tried to shift to the showerhead the flow slowed to a literal trickle and it wasn't hot at all. Hopefully an easy thing for them to repair. Room had two beds, mostly black-out curtains. An in-room safe that didn't function. Very few outlets for charging and only one convenient to the beds - requiring you to partially pull the mattress away from the wall to access. Coffee & tea service in the room. AC worked well. Television did not. On-site coffee shop offers breakfast. Four options - two Western and two Indonesian. Over-easy eggs means ice-cold over easy eggs. First time I've had Tang in a long time but they called it orange juice. Their setup for coffee is impressive so I'm sure that's definitely a good option. Staff was friendly and when I said I was in a hurry they brought out my food far faster than I would have expected. Everything was clean and pleasantly arranged. But the many small things that didn't work added up to a less than ideal stay. I checked in late and left early so there was no time to ask for assistance with most of these things, and I trust they'll address them. Otherwise this is a cute little place to stay.

I recently stayed at Madeline Hotel, and I was appalled by how the staff are treated. The supervisor of the housekeeping department, in particular, was extremely unprofessional. I witnessed several instances where the supervisor publicly berated staff members for minor issues, creating a hostile work environment. It's clear that the management does not value or respect their employees, which made my stay uncomfortable and unsettling. I cannot in good conscience recommend this hotel to anyone who values fair treatment of staff and professional conduct. On top of that, the waitress in the hotel restaurant was incredibly rude and dismissive; her poor attitude and lack of basic courtesy made dining there an unpleasant experience.

The food at Zebra Cacfe is really perfect! Balance yung pricing nila. One of the best and legit carbonara in town can be found here. It was so good I forgot to take some pictures.
