Duaw Davao Pride Parade

The biggest Pride in Mindanao — and one of the more surprising success stories in Philippine queer life. Duaw Davao Pride marched some 18,000 people and 119 contingents down Roxas Avenue to People's Park in 2026, with the City Tourism Office actively behind it: a city-government-backed Pride in a region better known for conservatism. The parade caps a June of community events run by the LGBT Davao City Coalition, from the Bugaslympics sports tournament to campus PrideFests, and the crowd is famously undeterred by Davao's June downpours.
