Club Chameleon

Club Chameleon is Tirana's principal dedicated LGBTQ+ venue and the closest thing to a Western-style gay club that Albania has to offer. It has maintained a consistent presence in the city's nightlife for several years, hosting themed party nights, occasional drag performances, and events tied to Tirana Pride season. The crowd is a mix of gay men, lesbians, bisexual and queer Albanians, and international visitors, in an atmosphere that is festive and self-consciously celebratory — a deliberate assertion of visibility in a city where that still carries meaning. The club operates on weekend nights and is busiest late in the evening, consistent with Albanian social rhythms where nightlife starts well past midnight. It is the essential first venue for any LGBTQ+ traveller arriving in Tirana.
