Hotel Julien

Loyal guests of this hotel since 2022, our experience over the past two years has unfortunately been disappointing. The unique decor, which makes it a favorite with influencers and boasts a very attractive Instagram account, isn't enough to make a stay in Antwerp worthwhile. In fact, the prices are largely unjustified considering the nights cut short by noisy neighbors (the soundproofing is deplorable). You can hear your neighbor's shower, the echoing voices from the lounge bar, doors slamming, and the creaking footsteps of guests above your head—in short, it's awful. It's a shame, because the atmosphere could be so cool, as the architecture and interior design are truly unique. (Choice of colors, objects, furniture, and photos) (Quality of bath products) We used to enjoy the breakfast buffet, but it's worth noting that it's now been replaced by an à la carte menu, with sometimes unreasonable waits for something as simple as granola with coconut yogurt! The staff's friendliness doesn't make up for these shortcomings.

A very warm and efficient welcome! The place is beautifully restored and decorated. (The original building is still very much present). My room (suite) was very spacious and comfortable. It was hard to leave. The breakfast menu offered a good variety of options, all delicious. Hotel Julien is HIGHLY recommended. I will definitely return!

We did an event with food and drinks and the place and service was absolutely amazing! Super friendly, helpful staff which was very present to assist with any problem or question Hotel has great central location but still calm area! Beautiful cozy bar 🍸 Absolute recommend this place!
