YUST Antwerp

Very good, I recommend this hostel. It's very good. The dorm rooms are very clean. There's a bath towel and a shower in each dorm. The people were respectful.

Stylish room. Friendly staff. When we arrived, the entire room smelled unpleasantly of food, and the smell couldn't be removed. The curtains were splattered with a reddish sauce or something similar. Overall, the rooms were very noisy; any use of water in the surrounding rooms was clearly audible. I wouldn't stay here again.

Nice hotel. The rooms were clean, practical, and very modern. The beds were good – we slept very well. Despite being in the city, it was very quiet! Good public transport connections. Breakfast was "standard" – perfectly fine, but could be improved for the price.

Amazing hostel, definitely a hotel vibe. However it’s clean, good location, good kitchen, and everyone is friendly that works there. Will definitely stay there again.

Slept well in one of the shared rooms. I'm not a fan of hostels myself, but the cabins offer enough privacy. The only downside was a toilet that wasn't working properly, but there was a toilet available in the gym further down the room. The staff's communication is friendly and professional, and they are helpful in solving problems.

A 'Luxury' Stay ✨✨✨✨✨! A wonderfully atmospheric entrance and living room with beautiful armchairs, a calm and superbly equipped space: a large living room, a little dark as it should be, but indeed well-lit with several warm lights! Large central portals with plenty of books to read and/or borrow. A lovely bar with free coffee or tea! AND THE PEACE AND QUIET...😀😀😀! No loud or annoying music, here you can truly feel like yourself: peaceful and comfortable... TOP-TOP-TOP ❤️! Plus, a clean and superbly equipped kitchen (including a fridge/conga) is available for your use! There are even washing machines in the living room - so nice! It's truly pure luxury, just as anyone could wish for! For me, nothing but YUST 😊😊😊! I spent a night in an 8-bed dorm for just €30 (pre-season, end of May). For me, it's 100% worth the price, so 5/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐!

A very neat hostel, clean, quiet, with recreation areas and a restaurant, convenient location, and reasonable prices.

Well-maintained hostel facility. Clean rooms, good amenities, friendly staff at the reception. Amazing lounge and co-working facilities. Well connected to the city center by tram and bus. Lidl and gym is located right outside. A public park around the corner to go for walks/runs. Would totally recommend it if you’re looking for a low-budget comfortable stay. It checked all my boxes

Surprisingly cozy and nice hostel. I liked the atmosphere and the area too! Will definitely stay here again if I go to Antwerp.

All colleagues are pleasant, but the chain manager outside the floor has little affinity for customer loyalty or hospitality. 0 inflexible, even towards people who have spent a fair amount of money on a stay or their services, so I won't be coming back here.

YUST as a concept is very lovable. Hostel vibe in the lobby (with actual shared rooms on 1st floor) and combo of hotel style rooms and long term stays above that. Located in a quiet sidestreet but close to transport, multiple shops and, with a bike, close to city center too. Staff is wonderful - young, smiling, yet not too polished/professional to make the place feel like an industrial hotel chain. Possibly one of the best places for a casual stay in Antwerp, period. I hope the YUST group can expand elsewhere and grow in the same way. Glorious rooftop, events get organized for tenants and guests, adjacent to a nice restaurant (and ALDI, for those that want to cook), there is a gym... list goes on and on. I only wish I knew about this place from the start of my living in Antwerp. This was a multi-month long term stay, and I'd come back anytime.

I booked a bed via booking.com; it was the last one, so I booked and paid quickly. Upon arrival at the hostel, it turned out to be a bed in a women's dorm, so I was not allowed to stay there. As an alternative, I was offered a deluxe room for which I had to pay extra. Much too expensive for me; I couldn't afford it. So I was told that I could not get a refund. I contacted booking.com, and they tried to get my money back anyway, because mistakes happen, and this is common. According to the terms and conditions, I should be entitled to a refund. But as it turns out... Because I was offered an alternative in the form of booking an expensive room, Yust has the right not to provide a refund, and they made good use of that. So according to the rules, they are within their rights, but it is ice-cold. Most travelers staying in hostels, just like me, don't have a big budget, so this hits hard. It is a nice hostel, but extremely businesslike, lacking any humanity. I would have loved to stay here, and do so in the future as well, but because of this incident, I prefer to stay somewhere where they treat you like a human being. Even booking.com didn't think this was right; they really did their best, but Yust really wouldn't budge. My €22 is probably very important to them.
