Hotel Djurhuus

Had a great experience there. We stayed in a superior room with a sea view. Since there is now some new construction towards the water on the other side of the road, our view was affected by that. Hotel breakfast was good and filling. There was waffles, scrambled eggs, sausages, sked beans; cake, cut up fruit and whole fruit, cereals, various bread, butter, cheese, various jams, orange juice, another juice (apple I think) and of course coffee and tea Good service at reception. There is also a lounge on the 3rd floor where you can relax, read some books, magazines and check out the board games.

Nice design and ambience. Very friendly, helpful staff, and a good buffet breakfast well above the standard I'd expect from a 3-star hotel. Very convenient location for the ferry and bus terminal which is within walking distance, even with heavy bags. Losing a star because my room was uncomfortably warm. Even with the radiator turned off and the window opened the crack that hotels seem to allow nowadays, I couldn't cool the room to a comfortable temperature for sleep.

I spendt 5 nights here as part of a larger group. I absolutely love the kindness of the people working here.

Had such a wonderful stay at Hotel Djurhuus. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. They really go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and taken care of. The room was spotless, cozy, and very comfortable, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. It felt like a perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring. One of the highlights was definitely the breakfast. There was a great variety of fresh, high-quality options, and it was clear a lot of care goes into it. Such a great way to start the day. The location is also fantastic, making it easy to get around and explore the area, whether you’re walking or heading out for day trips. Overall, I had a really great experience and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend to anyone visiting!

We stayed in the family room with a bunk bed. Room was surprisingly spacey. There is a lift to bring you up the upper floors. WIFI speed is pretty good. Plenty of free parking outside the hotel. If you enjoy a coastal hotel, this is for you. As it is tucked just at the corner of the town, it is not so crowded in footfall nor traffic. Good buffet breakfast too.

Nice hotel, nice conditions, met some people and had a beer.
